W.E.E.E. directive (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment )
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE) is an EU initiative to protect the environment by reducing the amount of electrical equipment going into landfill sites.

The WEEE Directive was introduced on 1st July 2007 WEEE Day. AXICON will undertake its responsibility as both a Producer and a Distributor to dispose of these goods in line with European legislation.
Axicon will work with our distributors & customers who request assistance with treatment, recovery, recycling and environmentally sound disposal of any of its products.
Axicon undertake responsibility for the following Equipment:

9000 series data Capture Unit
5000 Series Verifiers & all Accessories.
Part of Axicons obligation as a producer/distributor is to offer a take back scheme and we have partnered with all our distributors to fulfill these obligations for Axicon and the disposal of WEEE.
The R.O.H.S directive (Restriction
Of the use of Hazardous Substances)
The RoHS Directive, also known as EU Directive 2002/95/EG, went into affect on July 1st, 2006 in Europe.
The RoHS directive mandates that electrical and electronic products put into the European market within EU states shall contain restrictive levels of the following substances:
Lead (Pb)
Cadmium (Cd)
Mercury (Hg)
Hexavalent Chromium (Cr6+)
Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
