POINT OF SALE BARCODE VERIFIER (6000 SERIES)

Choose this model if you need to verify mainly the smaller, very commonly used barcodes like EAN-13 and UPC-A but also code 39, code128 and ITF. As long as the width of the codes and light margin on either side do not exceed a width of 68mm

MULTI PURPOSE BARCODE VERIFIER (6500 SERIES)

The 'Retail Mode' allows you to check the quality of the barcodes mainly used in the retail chain: e.g. EAN/UPC, GS1-128 (formally EAN-128) and ITF-14, all up to a maximum width of 125mm. This should cover most codes printed on labels e.g. thermal (transfer) printing systems.

OUTERCASE BARCODE VERIFIER (7000 SERIES)

The Axicon 7015 specifically verifies the larger type of barcodes being used in logistics. Typically ITF-14 and GS1-128 (formally EAN-128). Maximum scan width is up to 195mm.

HIGH SPEED MANUAL BARCODE VERIFICATION RANGE (S-RANGE)

Axicon’s “S” range verifiers are available in all specifications as above but does have the ability to be switched to continuous scan mode for the most accurate result. Click here for further details  

The Axicon ISO/ANSI High Speed verifier comes in two versions the Axicon 6500 HS and the Axicon 7000 HS. It is aimed at performing online verification when integrated in to thermal transfer or ink jet label printers.

FACTORY CALIBRATION AND REPAIR

For the verifier to perform at its highest level of accuracy we would recommend that VCAS (verification calibration and service) be carried out at annual intervals. This is NOT a legal requirement, but obviously if a verifier has not been checked, cleaned, serviced or recalibrated recently then it is possible that the verifier may not continue to give the right results.
