FACTORY CALIBRATION AND REPAIR

For the verifier to perform at its highest level of accuracy we would recommend that factory calibration be carried out at annual intervals. This is NOT a legal requirement, but obviously only if a verifier has been checked, cleaned, serviced and recalibrated recently then you can depend upon it to give consistent, accurate results.

The verifier can be returned to Axicon for a VCAS (verifier calibration and service) for the price of £245.00 + shipping + vat. This includes a new calibration card, latest software CD-ROM and an ISO/IEC 15426-1 certificate of compliance.

Verifiers are very precise measuring tools and may (in some environments) be subject to excess vibration, knocks or even dropping!! So periodic checking by the manufacturer can be a good performance check.
