All Axicon verifiers conform to the relevant ISO/IEC standards for barcode verifiers, which are ISO/IEC 15426-1 for linear barcode verifiers, and ISO/IEC 15426-2 for 2D barcode verifiers.  The verifiers must also measure barcode quality in line with the standards for measuring the quality of printed barcodes.  These are ISO/IEC 15415 for 2D barcodes, and ISO/IEC 15416 for linear barcodes.

These standards define how barcode verifiers should work and what they must be measuring and grading to provide users with a meaningful measurement of the quality of their barcodes.
